Egyptian Food in PDX

Two of the best lunches I’ve had in 2016 are from two separate Egyptian food carts. First, the falafel gyro from Tahrir Square at Cartopia on Hawthorne and SE 12th Ave. There were french fries IN it and it was tight-wrapped in foil making it very easy to eat. Second, the falafel gyro from Egyptian Brothers at the cart pocket behind Crema on SE 28th Ave. (between Burnside and Stark.) It was topped with a tasty pickle relish and while I have had good falafel all over town, this one was exceptional. Plus, it was massive and only $6. Check these out!
