Laurelhurst Park is an urban sanctuary in Southeast Portland. Sandwiched inbetween Burnside and Stark, it was established in 1909. The lake is home to duck families and fish. There’s a tennis court, a playground, and a horseshoe area. A few laps on the outer path followed by pull-ups on the playground bar makes for a great, quick midweek workout. And now is the best time of year to see the awesome changing leaves. It’s truly a Portland gem.
